Open House Night
If you are not sure if a pipe and drum band is for you or you just want to meet the band and try out the instruments, come and check it out! Our annual Open House night is 7:00pm, Monday September 22, 2025 at Knox United Church. You can try each instrument (beginners can make some very interesting noises come out of the pipes!) and see which you like best. Youth and parents can ask questions and chat with the teachers, band members and other parents. The Open House is free with no obligation to join... but we hope you'll be hooked after your experience :)
New Members join for FREE!
The Highlanders are currently looking for new members to take free lessons on Monday nights from 6:30 - 8:30 beginning Sept 22, 2025. More Info Here. No experience necessary and you can join at anytime. Ages 8 to 21. Learn to play the bagpipes, snare drum, bass drum or tenor drum.
