Snare Drum

Beginner students do not start on the drums in their first year. The beginner snare drummers begin on a drumpad and drumsticks. This equipment is not supplied by the band and must be purchased by the band member. Practice drumpads/sticks are available for purchase locally at Kinnaird Bagpipes and Reeds (www.kinnairdbagpipes.com). Expect to pay approximately $25-30 for snare sticks, and about $45 for a drumpad.
